Late May thru June is the annual migration of hummingbirds & literally hundreds of these little fellows will entertain you daily during this time period. Truly a once in a lifetime sight to see! Bird Lovers will marvel at the number of Pacific Northwest birds that frequent the property. You'll see stellar jays, finches, hummingbirds, barred owls, bald & golden eagles, herons, and more. Be sure to bring your camera!
The beach and trail is open for private use. You can take leisurely walks to the beach to play, explore or fish/crab. The beach is one of the largest natural habitats for the sand dollar. Guaranteed to see thousands of live ones at low tide! The hike back can be a bit tiring for older folks, so let us know beforehand and we can arrange daily trips by quad to the beach. As you explore the area, be sure to stop by the small towns of Port Ludlow, Port Gamble, Kingston, and Chimacum. Also, the beautiful, Victorian tourist destination of Port Townsend is only a half hour drive away, offering many entertainment, dining, and sight-seeing opportunities.+ More
