At Windswept on the Trent, we recognize the need to step back and see the bigger picture and our B&B is a refuge featuring exceptional creature comforts in a natural environment. We provide solitude, discretion and privacy yet connected at high speed to the outside world.
The property features the Water Tower Suite. This circular former water tower has three bedrooms, living room, fireplace and can accommodate up to six people. There is also the Coach House Suite which has a living room, with a pull-out couch for two and upstairs a luxurious queen bed, french windows and doors and a wonderful open concept soaker tub. Also on the property is a screened in bunky a great hideaway to sit and read or relax. You can enjoy the view and sounds of life on the river on the veranda, dock, or go for a canoe ride around our island.
Come for a Retreat, a Wedding (we specialize in intimate weddings from 40 to 150 people), or your next Business Meeting or Workshop. We provide a state of the art meeting facility, wired or wireless high speed internet, LCD projector, video conferencing and all the tools required for a successful event. Windswept on the Trent a picture perfect hideaway! Cuisine par excellence! At our suites breakfast is included for the first two and then there is a nominal charge for any additional people.

The Water Tower
Stay in our circular Water Tower Suite which has a living room with a fireplace, satellite TV, dvd player, microwave and small fridge. The tower has 3 bedrooms 2 of which have a double bed and the third has 2 twin beds so it can sleep up to 6 people. There is a bathroom with a shower. There is a wrap around deck with gorgeous views of the waterfront. Relax in our hot tub or steam shower, read a book, or just enjoy the sunset on the dock. Cost $230/night plus HST breakfast for 2 included in cost. Additional $10pp for extra breakfasts.
The Coach House Suite
Come stay in our Coach House Suite with a Queen sized bed and fireplace with a luxurious soaker bath tub and hand shower upstairs and downstairs there is a large flat screen satellite TV, dvd player comfortable lazy boy chairs to snuggle up and watch a movie, as well there is a pull out couch so the Coach House Suite can sleep 4. As well there is small fridge and microwave. Just outside is an outbuilding with an additional bathroom and a steam shower. OR go out onto the wrap around deck off the Water Tower and enjoy the hot tub. Or sit on the upstairs deck of the Coach House. Cost $184/night plus HST breakfast for 2 included in cost.
