The cottage is modern, light and airy, beautiful and comfortable ~ with vaulted ceilings, skylights and lots of natural lighting, the living area also features a Scandinavian Design Sleeper Sofa, which can accommodate kids fairly well, but for privacy and comfort we offer 2 additional bedrooms with private baths downstairs for larger groups. The upstairs bedroom features a gorgeous pillow-top queen bed, a cozy electric fireplace, lounging chairs and more light filled windows, leading onto a large outdoor deck, with gorgeous patio furniture -- perfect for BBQ dinners, or as a breakfast nook or just reading & relaxing in the dappled sunlight of the oaks, bay laurels and madrone trees.

THERE ARE PARKING SPACES FOR ONLY 2 VEHICLES. PLEASE NOTE: It's a two tiered home, overlooking the woods; the entire home is yours during your stay. And the two flights of stairs are treelined, shady and scenic. FOR SAFETY REASONS, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ONLY FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGE 8 AND OLDER. If you are not comfortable climbing stairs, please consider another site.

RIVER ACCESS: There is a public access path to the river just a short walk from the house. While you can access the river at this point, there is no beach at the end of this path. Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach Park is located 3 miles from the house, and has beach access.
Healdsburg has some of the finest restaurants in Sonoma County: The Dry Creek Kitchen, Partake by K J, Barndiva, Willi's Seafood & Wine Bar, Scopa, SHED & Bergamot Alley are a few of the best. Enjoy some of our favorite vineyards: Dry Creek Valley is world famous, Williamson Wines, Jordan Vineyard, Truett Hurst or Alexander Valley are also highly acclaimed. Try some of the heritage boutique vineyards ACORN Winery, Portalupi Wine or Stephen & Walker. The Healdsburg Plaza has fine art galleries, specialty and antique shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. Other special surroundings include golf, world-class vineyards, festivals, hiking, canoeing, kayaking & picnicking. We're 30 minutes from Calistoga in Napa Valley; 30 minutes from Guerneville and Forestville (Armstrong Redwoods); just over an hour from San Francisco, two hours from Sacramento, 45 minutes from Bodega Bay and Jenner by the Sea;
Healdsburg is a small town with most of the action happening in the plaza. During peak visitor seasons, be mindful of parking signs to avoid tickets. For those who may prefer a driver service, Uber and The Healdsburg Taxi company are a great alternatives.+ More
