-The open concept kitchen and living area include a fully stocked kitchen (no dishwasher), dining area with a beautiful view, and comfortable seating in front of the cathedral fireplace. Watch a movie in the basement through our complimentary Netflix account or play retro video games on our various game consoles.
-The two first-floor bedrooms have queen beds and closet space. A queen bed in the loft is also available.
-The screened in porch keeps the bugs away while you dine alfresco and our gorgeous deck is a great place to catch some rays and grill a meal.
Good to Know:
-Our turnover assistant cleans the house before and after your stay, will remove the trash and recycling, and launders all the linens.
-There is no air conditioning - fans are provided in each bedroom.
-Parking is available for up to four cars.
-Because our home is not child-proof, we don't recommend bringing children under 5 years of age.
-There are no keys provided for the house. Please do not lock the handle of the front door – there is no key to unlock it! If you find yourself locked out, you will be charged a fee of $165 for a locksmith to come out and get you back in the house.
-In Ashland (5 minute drive): the original Common Man Restaurant and General Store; Bob's Shur-Fine grocery store; gift and antique shops.
-In Holderness (10 minute drive): Squam Lake Marketplace specialty grocery and deli; Walter's Basin pub; Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. For a hike with sweeping views of Squam Lake try the West Rattlesnake trail off of Route 113.
-In Meredith/Laconia (30 minute drive): many restaurants and shops; access to Lake Winnipesaukee; FunSpot arcade.
-No smoking. (No, not even outside.)
-No pets of any kind. (We, the homeowners, are very allergic to pet dander.)
-Please be kind to our septic system. If we find that the septic system requires maintenance after your stay, you will be charged whatever fees are levied for the work.
